Isolated Word Speech Recognition Using Mixed Transform

Methods of speech recognition have been the subject several studies over past decade. Speech has one most exciting areas signal processing. Mixed transform is a useful tool for processing; it developed its abilities improvement in feature extraction. includes three important stages, preprocessing, extraction, and classification. Recognition accuracy so affected by features extraction stage; therefore different models mixed were proposed. The properties recorded isolated word will be 1-D, which achieve conversion each 1-D into 2-D form. second step recognizer requires, application FFT, Radon transform, IFFT,and discrete wavelet transforms used first proposed model, while multicircularlet was model. final stage use dynamic time warping algorithm tasks. performance systems evaluated using forty Arabic words that are fifteen times studio speaker dependant. result shows (91% 89%) type Daubechies (Db1) (Db4) respectively, score between (87%-93%) achieved usingdiscrete 9 sub bands.
